‘I’m A Believer Now’: Suzanne Somers’ Widower Says Unexplained Things Have Been Happening

Suzanne Somers’ widower Alan Hamel said several unexplained things have happened since her death and said he’s a “believer now” in the after-life.

The widower of the famed “Three’s Company” star told Page Six that some odd things have happened at their Palm Springs home since her death. Somers died last October at the age of 76, following a two-decade battle with cancer.

“Three things happened the same day, that were very strange,” Hamel told the outlet.

“[A] hummingbird flew into our house and made the rounds in the kitchen, and the living room and the dining room,” Somers’ husband of 50 years added.

The bird “hovered” in front of a framed photo of Hamel and Somers in their breakfast nook, and even “landed on top and stayed there.”

Somers’ widower said the hummingbird stayed long enough that he was able to grab a picture of it before it flew away.

Lastly, Hamel said “the fireplace started all by itself,” and “some music came on by Suzanne’s favorite [composer]. No one’s ever heard of this guy.”

Hamel said after all these things and the fact he can still feel his wife lying beside him in bed just before he goes to sleep, he’s “a believer now that there is an after life.”

“I’m convinced of it … I think there’s something we don’t understand,” he added. “I think there’s a plane somewhere … after we discard our bodies. We still have our soul. I think our soul is energy. The soul must go somewhere and do something.”

“The time when I’m with my family … and I have one of my moments when I have to leave, I go into the bedroom … I’m alone there. And I feel her presence,” Hamel continued. “Once I interact with her presence, I go back and interact with the family. Her grandkids, one by one, have told me the same thing.”

Somers’ widower said he hopes “it’s all true” because all the odd things have certainly made “the grieving process a lot easier,” and, “If it is, we’ll be reunited.”
