Steph Curry Sends A Clear Message Ahead Of Kings Matchup
After a forgettable NBA regular season, the Golden State Warriors were barely able to secure their spot in the Play-In Tournament in order to keep their playoff hopes alive in the Western Conference.
Ironically enough, the Warriors will have to face the division-rival Sacramento Kings in their first of potentially two games in the Play-In Tournament, as the second would see them have to take on the loser of the New Orleans Pelicans facing the Los Angeles Lakers in order to punch their ticket to the first round of the postseason.
Although the Warriors are always dangerous around this time of year, with Stephen Curry leading the way on the basketball floor and head coach Steve Kerr calling the shots on the sideline, Sacramento is a formidable opponent and took Golden State to seven games last year in the first round of the playoffs.
With this game that is set to be played on Tuesday being a win-or-go-home scenario, Curry let it be known that the entire organization is treating this matchup with the Kings with a Game 7-type environment, via Warriors on NBCS.
“This is technically a Game 7-type environment in the same building,” Curry said.

This Warriors team might not be the dominant force of old, but they can still compete with the best of them when they are all locked in and communicating with one another on the basketball floor.
It’ll be interesting to see whether this team has what it takes to make one more deep run in the postseason, especially with some potential drastic changes on the horizon.
