Pat McAfee Says 1 AFC QB Continues To Be ‘Disrespected’

Lamar Jackson may not be posting the same numbers from 2019, but he’s having an MVP-level 2023 NFL season as he’s got the Baltimore Ravens atop the AFC standings.

The Ravens have looked like the most complete team in football this year, and it’s easy to see why when you watch them week in and week out.

Baltimore dominates all three phases of the game, with Jackson showing mastery of offensive coordinator Todd Monken’s system.

Jackson built a reputation for being a running quarterback, but this season he’s looked much more comfortable in the pocket.

It helps that he’s got more weapons in the passing game, but it shouldn’t take away from what he’s been doing.

However, people like Pat McAfee believe Jackson isn’t getting the respect he deserves via The Pat McAfee Show.

“At a sports bar.. with a lot of TVs.. enjoying this Week 17 slate.. They don’t have Ravens/Dolphins on a single TV.. The disrespect for Lamar and for the Dolphins is so real,” McAfee tweeted.

It’s odd that a sports bar wouldn’t have such a key matchup showing on one of their televisions, so one has to assume that was an oversight.

There’s no reason why Jackson and the Ravens shouldn’t be on primetime given how well they’re playing, so McAfee’s point certainly stands.

It’s rare when there’s a consensus on who the best team is, but it’s hard to find another team playing better than Baltimore right now.

Jackson has to be considered the frontrunner for MVP, and it’ll be interesting to see if he can add another impressive victory under his belt.
