In Week 16, there will be two matchups in the NFL that most people will be circling on their calendars while they make plans for the holiday weekend.

These two matchups both pose potential Super Bowl previews, with the Dallas Cowboys taking on the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium and the San Francisco 49ers playing host to the Baltimore Ravens at Levi’s Stadium.

Even though the 49ers taking on the Ravens is arguably the better matchup, with those two teams being arguably the best in the league right now, the Cowboys going on the road to face the Dolphins will be intriguing, to say the least.

Along with this being a matchup between a high-powered offense and lockdown defense, this will be a statement game for both teams that need this win before they head into the NFL playoffs in a few weeks.

Chris Broussard of FOX Sports believes this game might be a bit more important for the Dolphins, who need a win against a tough team like the Cowboys, via “First Things First.”

There’s no question that the Dolphins are a talented team on both sides of the football, especially on offense, with superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill downfield and Tua Tagovailoa under center.

Even though the Dolphins have 10 wins coming into this game, they’ve lost every game against a formidable opponent this season, with losses to the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Cowboys will pose a significant threat to the Dolphins, and if Miami can come out on top against America’s Team, it will put the AFC on notice heading into the postseason.
