The Washington Commanders are entering the 2024 season with a lot of hope and anticipation.

For the first time in several years, the Commanders have a quarterback that the franchise and fanbase have a lot of confidence in.

The Commanders took Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.

Daniels presents a significant upside for this team, as he is a mobile threat who also has an impressive arm and field vision.

The Commanders could have a similar uptick in production in 2024 that the Houston Texans had in 2023.

The Texans added C.J. Stroud in the draft, and they made a significant turnaround compared to the prior season.

With this in mind, Daniels seems excited to lead this team, ready for his first opportunity in the NFL.

Daniels recently appeared on the “All Facts No Breaks” podcast, where he talked with Keyshawn Johnson about his upcoming rookie season, particularly as it relates to facing off against his former head coach, Antonio Pierce.

“I told him I was going to beat him. It is what it is,” Daniels said.

While Daniels and Pierce might have a great relationship off the field, they are both fierce competitors on the field.

Daniels seemingly wants to beat his old head coach to demonstrate that he’s more than ready for the challenge and that he can perform at a high level in the NFL.

Can the Commanders find a way to turn things around with Daniels at the helm this season?
