Fans React To Today’s Darius Slay News

The Philadelphia Eagles must be almost perfect until the end of the season.

Their remaining schedule gets easier after Monday night’s clash with the Seattle Seahawks.

Nonetheless, facing an explosive offense like Seattle is always a big challenge, especially if you’re not at full strength.

That’s why several fans showed their concerns when Adam Schefter reported that star CB Darius Slay is out for Monday’s game.

The Eagles star reportedly underwent arthroscopic surgery in his injured knee, and while he’s still expected to be back before the end of the regular season, he could be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Needless to say, the fans had some things to say about that.

The Eagles were the best team in the league for more than half a season, at least record-wise.

Even though they weren’t as dominant as they were last season, they continued to find ways to win games, even coming from behind to get a 5-1 record when trailing after halftime.

But Nick Sirianni’s team has left a lot to be desired over the past couple of weeks, getting exposed by both the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys, and that’s not a great sign ahead of the postseason.

Of course, getting Slay back to full strength for when it matters the most is their No.1  priority.

Then again, not having him on the field could severely hamper their chances of securing the NFC East Division and the No. 1 seed in the conference, and that could end up being a bit of a catastrophe.
