Hamas Official Demands Israel Agree To Ceasefire While Hamas Continues To Attack;

Top Hamas official Ghazi Hamad suggested during an interview this week that Israel must agree to a ceasefire while Hamas terrorists get to continue launching attacks.

The remarks come after Hamad said that Hamas will launch October 7 attacks against Israel “again and again” until the Jewish state ceases to exist. Hamas murdered 1,400 Israelis last month, wounded 5,300, and kidnapped approximately 240.

Hamad made the remarks during an NBC News interview that aired Thursday with foreign correspondent Matt Bradley.

He demanded that if Israel wanted the hostages back that it must release the thousands of Palestinian criminals and terrorists that are locked up in Israel right now. Hamas told Russian media that Israel must agree to a ceasefire to get the hostages back.

“But how can you ask for a ceasefire, how can you ask for Israel to stop their aggression when you go on television in Lebanon here last week can say that you will continue your aggression?” Bradley asked. “You will continue to launch October 7s again and again.”

“What do you want us to do? To stop?” Hamad asked.

Bradley noted that Hamas that the ceasefire must go both ways because that’s how ceasefires work.

“No, I am talking that we want to continue (fighting) against the occupation,” Hamad responded. “This is our legal right to fight against the occupation. It is according to international law. According to all of the regulations and the law. In Europe, you fight against the Nazis.”

When Bradley pressed about Hamas’ intentional targeting and murder of innocent Israeli civilians, Hamad claimed, “I don’t have any details about this.”

Bradley then pressed Hamad about remarks that he made about how the main benefit of the terrorist attack was that the Palestinian issue spilled over into anti-Semitic protests around the world. When asked if Hamas will kill more civilians to spark more protests, Hamad would not deny it and said there was nothing else Hamas could do other than fight Israel.

“It costs you the lives of thousands of people, innocent people, will you do it again?” Bradley asked. “You’ve said you will to advance that cause again. Will you kill more civilians to get more protesters in the streets of Washington?”

“We are still fighting. You want us to stop?” Hamad responded. “If we are stopped now, we will go back to the to the miserable situation, to humiliation, to be under the occupation.”
