Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt will be walking into a family affair during Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season.

They will visit a Houston Texans team that had a breakthrough win against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.

However, that trip is more than a game because the Texans will induct T.J.’s older brother, J.J. Watt, into their Ring of Honor.

The NFL’s single-season sack record co-owner is immensely proud of his older brother, one of his role models.

“I’m so happy that @JJWatt is gonna be celebrated the way that he deserves on Sunday…I know that the city of Houston will do that for him, and I’m excited to get the whole family together,” the younger Watt shared during his recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

While J.J. Watt retired with the Arizona Cardinals last season, he became one of the league’s unstoppable defensive forces during his ten seasons with the Texans.

Aside from three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards, he also earned seven All-Pro and five Pro Bowl selections as the anchor of the Texans’ defense.

J.J. Watt led the league in sacks twice.

T.J. Watt equaled that feat in 2021 when he tied Michael Strahan’s league record of 22.5.

That feat earned the Steelers linebacker his first Defensive Player of the Year award.

While there will be a reunion for J.J. Watt’s induction, T.J. Watt would also like to earn the victory against his brother’s former team.

The Texans will keep an eye on him in every snap, given that he already has six sacks in three games.
