Reporter Reveals What Led To Draymond Green, Jordan Poole Punch
At the end of last offseason, the entire NBA world was caught up in the controversy surrounding Draymond Green and Jordan Poole of the Golden State Warriors.
Green was seen on tape punching Poole, which led to a minor suspension and a slew of negative headlines.
No one knew what caused the shocking confrontation – until now.
According to Pablo Torres, Poole upset Green during their practice session when he told him: “You’re an expensive backpack for 30 [Stephen Curry].”
Apparently, that was what it took for Green to haul off and hit the man.
What did Jordan Poole REALLY tell Draymond Green, before the punch seen ’round the world?

Things were never the same for the Warriors after that.
Their season was troubled, with the team attempting to return to the Finals but facing a number of challenges.
The biggest was their awful road record.
The Warriors just couldn’t seem to win many games when they weren’t playing at home.
Team chemistry seemed to be okay and Green and Poole swore that they had put the fight behind them and were now looking ahead.
Still, speculation remained about the future for both players.
Green was angling to get a new extension from the team and Poole had just received his own.
It looked like they might be working together for the foreseeable future.
But then Poole experienced a rather rough postseason run and was traded to the Washington Wizards.
A lot has been said about the punch heard around the NBA world but the specifics of the argument were never revealed.
Now more information is known and Green, Poole, and all of basketball fandom can maybe move beyond it.
