The Oklahoma City Thunder should be thrilled to have Shai Gilgeous Alexander on their team.

Not only is he a great basketball player, but he is also a great person.

Gilgeous-Alexander took time out of his offseason to visit a children’s hospital in Canada.

It was an incredible gesture by SGA and you can tell the kids loved having him there.

The SickKids foundation via ClutchPoints showed images of SGA during the visit.

You can tell this meant a lot to Gilgeous-Alexander because he was born in Canada.

He loves the opportunity to give back to the kids who are growing up in his country.

SGA was able to play for Team Canada in the FIBA World Cup.

He led that team to the gold medal in a highly contested tournament.

Giving back to Canada in many different ways is something that SGA loves to do.

He is having a great offseason representing Canada in many different ways.

With the NBA season right around the corner, the Thunder are looking to shock a lot of people.

The Thunder were the ninth seed in the Western Conference and made the play-in tournament last year.

The expectations for them this year should be a top-six seed in the conference.

Gilgeous-Alexander will need another All-NBA caliber season for the Thunder to be a playoff team.

Even with the addition of Chet Holmgren, the Thunder still need their star player to be great.

Do not be surprised if SGA takes another step forward this season.
