The Atlanta Hawks could be on the verge of a massive shakeup if things don’t change in the 2023-24 NBA season.

Since making the Eastern Conference Finals a couple of seasons ago, the Hawks have underwhelmed since and are teetering on the edge of mediocrity as the East continues to grow stronger.

Trae Young has seemingly plateaued after rising up the stardom ranks as he hasn’t been able to uplift the Atlanta offense.

Even after getting a co-star in Dejounte Murray, Young hasn’t been able to find the magic from their playoff run.

With the organization desperate to advance further into the postseason, there have been rumors that Young could get traded should they continue to struggle during the new season.

Regardless of what happens with his future, Young was still happy to give back to the Atlanta community by fully funding a brand new gym floor for Atlanta Youth Academy students via his Twitter account.

It’s quite the act of kindness and generosity for Young who appeared for the floor’s unveiling in front of numerous students.

Connecting the youth to basketball is an excellent way to promote fitness and health as well as provide students more outlets to stay out of trouble.

The Hawks star seems genuinely proud of what he was able to do for the kids and it’s always great to see NBA players giving back to the communities they play for.

While this new floor will always be appreciated, fans will still want to see Young step up and lead Atlanta back into the playoffs and make noise.
