Rich Paul started a mild controversy with his latest comments about LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

By speaking of James, his status in the league, his accomplishments, and his place in history, Paul got other people talking.

Paul happened to say that James has faced more scrutiny than both Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant and that really had some analysts giving their opinions.

Speaking on “Undisputed,” Keyshawn Johnson said there is no way that James faced more scrutiny than those two men.

He said that both Jordan and Bryant had their personal lives held under a microscope during their careers in ways that James simply hasn’t had to deal with.

James has definitely faced a lot of pressure and attention because of his place in the NBA.

That is all part of being a player with so much success.

But James’ personal life has rarely been talked about.

That’s because his life has been fairly normal, for the most part.

However, both Jordan and Bryant experienced some uncomfortable and unfortunate events in their lives.

Those were discussed often by the media at the time and, therefore, received tons of scrutiny.

So Johnson is right when he says that both Jordan and Bryant went through a lot.

One could argue that James has experienced more scrutiny than those two when it comes to his NBA career.

Because of social media and the nature of network TV, James’ NBA career has been discussed more.

But when it comes to off-court activities, Jordan and Bryant were in the public eye a lot more.
