The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to win another Super Bowl this season, which would give them three Vince Lombardi Trophies in the last five seasons and possibly put them into dynasty status.

However, there are concerns surrounding the team.

NFL commentator Cris Collinsworth outlined those concerns while on the “Rich Eisen Show” this week.

For starters, star defensive lineman Chris Jones is holding out of training camp because he wants a new contract, and so far at least, the Chiefs have not caved into his demands.

Jones could reportedly end up missing some regular season games if he doesn’t receive a new deal, and his absence would be a major obstacle for Kansas City.

Jones recorded 15.5 sacks last season and was a big reason the team was first in passing yards and touchdowns allowed.

Then there is the wide receiving corps, which already had to adjust to the departure of Tyreek Hill last offseason and will now have to deal with the absence of JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is now a member of the New England Patriots.

Collinsworth likes the potential of a few of Kansas City’s young receivers, including Kadarius Toney, but one of them will have to emerge as a bona fide star — fast.

The Chiefs also lost star left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. to the Cincinnati Bengals, and the position is another thing Collinsworth is concerned about.

They may have the best quarterback and overall player in Patrick Mahomes, but he isn’t David Blaine, and he will therefore need help in order to bring home a third world championship this winter.
