The 2023-24 NBA season schedule has officially been released, with all 30 teams in the league getting a chance to comb over their schedule and circle the games they can’t wait to play in the coming months.

Heading into this summer, the future was uncertain for the Dallas Mavericks and superstar guard Kyrie Irving, with no telling whether he’d return to the franchise or head to the Los Angeles Lakers or another team in NBA free agency.

Fortunately for the Mavericks, Irving didn’t take too long to make his decision in free agency as he agreed to a long-term deal with Dallas, securing his future with the team and the partnership with fellow superstar Luka Doncic.

Another good sign for Dallas is that Irving is trying to connect with fans of the franchise, as he took to Twitter after the schedule dropped on Thursday to talk about potential things he wants to do with Mavericks fans.

Last season, the Mavericks went from being a team that was in the Western Conference Finals to missing the NBA playoffs entirely, and this was after the team had acquired Irving in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Dallas will be a team on a mission during the 2023-24 campaign as Doncic and company have a lot to prove, with this team hoping to get back to title-contending status in the West.

Fortunately for Dallas, Irving and Doncic will have more time to build some chemistry and figure out how best to play with one another to get wins and take a step closer to winning it all.
