‘I Don’t Deserve This!’: Tom Hanks’ Niece Goes Viral For All The Wrong Reasons After

Oscar winning actor Tom Hanks’ niece went viral on Monday for all the wrong reasons after her reality-show meltdown made the rounds on social media.

Carly Reeves, an actress and producer who graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television, delivered an emotional rant after learning she’d been ousted from ABC’s reality show “Claim to Fame.”

The show pits the relatives of famous people against each other, as each attempts to discover who the others’ famous relatives are first — and Reeves lost it when another contestant guessed her “Claim to Fame” on Monday’s premiere.

Songwriter Rob Milton shared a clip of the scene, adding the comment, “I don’t know if y’all watch #ClaimToFame but Tom Hanks’ niece really showed her a** last night.”

An emotional Reeves walked off the set in tears after hosts Kevin Jonas and Frankie Jonas revealed the truth — that her contestant had guessed correctly, and Tom Hanks was her “Claim to Fame.”

“His freaking clues were so freaking obvious,” Reeves wailed after letting loose with an ear-splitting scream offstage. “Freaking bench, it’s the freaking poster of freaking ‘Forrest Gump,’ are you kidding me? Why a bench, why a bench? There’s literally no references to a bench in any other movie.”

“Even Gabriel found that out, and he’s not even, like, smart,” she complained, prompting a gasp from the remaining contestants — who were allowed to hear everything she was saying.

“For real? That’s cold,” one said.

“I didn’t even get to do any challenges,” Reeves continued, still crying.

“I did not have that level of drama for the first guess-off on my ‘Claim to Fame’ bingo card,” fellow contestant Karsyn responded to Reeves.

“I don’t deserve this,” Reeves wailed as she began to pack her clothes. “I should have more camera time. I should be here longer … No one expected that. No one!”

Reeves later admitted that she might had “overreacted” in the moment, telling Entertainment Weekly, “Yeah, I was really upset. I think I overreacted a little bit, but I’m an emotional, very dramatic person. I was really angry that I didn’t get a chance to play as long as some of [the] other contestants.”

As for her famous uncle, she said that she hoped he’d get a chance to see the now-viral moment. “I would love for him to watch it, because I think it’s hilarious,” she said. “He’s happy for me no matter what.”
