Adam Carolla Posts Bookstore’s Window Display That Torches Prince Harry’s New Book

Comedian Adam Carolla posted a photo of a bookstore display that torched Prince Harry over the release of his new tell-all memoir, titled “Spare.”

The 58-year-old actor and podcaster shared the photo of a window display created by a bookstore clerk that made clear the person wasn’t a fan of the Duke of Sussex’s new book.

“This bookstore clerk has a great sense of humor,” Carolla tweeted to his hundreds of thousands of followers on Tuesday.

The tweet included an image of the prince’s memoir mixed in with another book titled “How To Kill Your Family” by Bella Mackie, apparently in an attempt to compare her fictional work with the duke’s book in which he criticizes his brother and sister-in-law, the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as his father King Charles III.

“Spare” is listed as a non-fiction memoir in which Prince Harry “tells his own story, chronicling his journey with raw, unflinching honesty. A landmark publication, ‘Spare’ is full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief,” the Amazon description notes.

Mackie’s book is a fiction-thriller described by one critic as “funny, sharp, dark, and twisted.”

“When Grace Bernard discovers her absentee millionaire father has rejected her dying mother’s pleas for help, she vows revenge, and sets about to kill every member of his family,” a description from GoodReads states about Mackie’s book.

“Readers have a front row seat as Grace picks off the family one by one – and the result is as and gruesome as it is entertaining in this wickedly dark romp about class, family, love… and murder,” it adds.

At the time of this publication, the tweet has been viewed nearly 200,000 times and counting.

Reading through the comments underneath Carolla’s post, the view from the majority of his followers was that the photo was “hilarious” and “amazing.” One person described the tweet, calling Harry “a traitor to his family.”
