AUSTINTOWN — A hamburger restaurant with ties to a famous family is at Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Race Course.

Wahlburgers, created by chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, Donnie Wahlberg, perhaps best known for his being part of pop band New Kids on the Block, and actor Mark Wahlberg, will, according to the racino’s website, open today.

It will be on the first floor of the facility, according to Austintown’s Zoning Department, which received plans for the restaurant over the summer.

The investment is about $42,000.

The restaurant’s menu features a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and more.

This will be the fourth Wahlburgers in Ohio. The others are in Cleveland, Cincinnati and at Hollywood Casino Columbus.

The local Wahlburgers will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
