Doutt recognized by Ohio School Board Association
School board member honored
Dennis Doutt, board member for East Guernsey Local School District and Mid-East Career and Technology Center, was recently recognized by the Ohio School Board Association. The Veteran School Board Member award is given to those individuals who have served five, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years on their local school board. Doutt was recognized for his 20 years of service.
Food distribution postponed
GRACE food pantry has postponed the food distribution for two weeks. It was to take place on Friday. The next distributions will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 8 and 22.
Planning Commission meeting scheduled
The Guernsey County Planning Commission will meet with Community Improvement Corporation at 8 a.m. Friday, April 1, in the County Administration Building conference room. Any business to be submitted for consideration must be in the CIC office by the close of business today.
Wills Township trustees to meet

Cloverleaf 4-H Club elects officers
The Cloverleaf 4-H Club recently elected officers. They are Grace Shipe, president; Jaden Parry, vice president; Emma Grewell, treasurer; Josie Rome, secretary; Avery Wayble, news reporter; and Matthew Clipner and Niel McConaughy, safety officers. The club will meet at April 24, at Buckeye Trail Elementary.
Amateur radion club meeting on Saturday
The Cambridge Amateur Radio Association will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Guernsey County Administration Building.
Roaring Twenties Bash is April 21
The Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Foundation will hold The Roaring Twenties Bash at 5 p.m. April 21 at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center to benefit the festival. It includes, dinner, music and auctions. Tickets are $40, per person, $320 for an eight-person table, or $350 to reserve a table.
