CLEVELAND, Ohio – Feeding the Frontlines this spring will once again honor nurses across Northeast Ohio and Michigan for their commitment during the coronavirus pandemic, with gift cards to local restaurants.

Ohio Savings Bank has once again jumped on board to sponsor the event, a program hosted by Advance Ohio (which handles business for The Plain Dealer and cleveland.com) and MLive Media Group in Michigan.

The Spring 2022 campaign will be the third time the New York-based financial institution will buy gift cards from Northeast Ohio restaurants to thank essential workers, which so far has benefitted 16 local restaurants. The gift cards will be delivered on May 6, National Nurses Day.

In the past year, Feeding the Frontlines has awarded meals for teachers and healthcare workers. As part of the program, sponsors invest to have meal vouchers delivered to healthcare workers in the sponsor’s community.
