NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio
Criminal damaging: Emerald Street
On Feb. 5 during a premises check, police found a broken window at a business.
Breaking and entering: Westminister
Police responded to a report of an attempted break-in at a business on Feb. 5.
Breaking and entering: Lear Nagle Road
A business was broken into on Feb. 5.
Criminal damaging: Center Ridge Road
A business reported damage to the property and the angle of a security camera had been moved on Feb. 5.
Breaking and entering: Center Ridge Road
A doctor’s office was forcibly entered overnight, an employee reported on Feb. 5. No items appeared to be taken, but the building was damaged.
Breaking and entering: Emerald Street
Police responded to a report of a business broken into overnight on January 31.
Underage offense:
An officer discovered a parked car during a business check on Feb. 8. The occupants were underage. Alcohol, drugs and drug paraphernalia were in the car. The driver was cited and released at the scene.
Crash: Bagley Road
On Jan. 28, an officer responded to a single-car crash near Gatestone Road. The driver left the scene before police arrived. An investigation revealed the driver was from Parma. He will be charged with failure to control, driving under suspension, hit/sip and obstructing official business.
Assault: Nicoll Drive
Officers responded to a disturbance on Feb. 10. A man was taken to the hospital, and a warrant for an assault charge was entered for a suspect.
Theft: Cook Road
On Feb. 7, a man reported his trailer stolen from a commercial property he owns.
Burglary: Homecrest Drive
On Jan. 28, a contractor reported tools stolen from a site.
