After losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, the San Francisco 49ers have to go back to the drawing board during this NFL offseason to figure out how to get over the hump and get the best of Patrick Mahomes and company in the big game.

Although the 49ers were without a doubt one of the most talented teams on both sides of the football during the 2023 campaign, the team wasn’t nearly as dominant in the NFL playoffs, as even the Green Bay Packers gave them a run for their money in the Divisional round of the postseason.

Of course, whenever a team loses in the Super Bowl, no matter how talented or stacked the squad may be, there will always be speculation and rumors that surround the immediate future, with a star player or two bound to be mentioned in trade rumors.

This time around, it appears that versatile wide receiver Deebo Samuel is the player who has been thrown into trade rumors, which Kay Adams asked him about during a recent episode of “Up & Adams.”

“That’s just people on the Internet moving their fingers,” Samuel said.

Even though the 49ers would almost certainly get a sizable trade haul in return for Samuel, who is arguably one of the most talented offensive players in the game today, it seems silly to think they’d consider moving him.

The 49ers definitely need to improve in some areas, but losing Samuel would be a step in the opposite direction.
