The Dallas Cowboys have experienced a roller coaster of a season thus far.

After receiving significant criticism during the offseason, the Cowboys find themselves with a 5-2 record, which is good for second in the NFC East.

The Cowboys have an opportunity to get closer to the Philadelphia Eagles for the division lead in Week 9, as the two teams face off.

Despite the Cowboys’ standing in the public eye, they have played well against the Eagles lately.

They have won four of the last five matchups mainly due to the dominant play of Dak Prescott.

In a graphic shared via FOX Sports NFL, Prescott’s elite play against the Eagles is put on full display.

In 11 career games against the Eagles, Prescott has thrown for 19 touchdowns, and 2,757 yards, winning eight of these contests.

Even if he is struggling throughout the year against other teams, Prescott seems to find a second gear when facing the Eagles.

Can he do the same in Week 9?

While the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl last season, many analysts have questioned if their team is as good this year.

Their offense started slower than anticipated to start the season, although it has picked up as of late.

For Prescott and the Cowboys to take down the Eagles again, they’ll have to contain the dynamic duo of Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown.

Brown has been the best receiver in the NFL over the past several weeks, putting up over 100 yards in six straight games.

This historic rivalry should see another entertaining matchup this week.
