When this NFL season began, some thought the Buffalo Bills were on the brink of collapse.

They had suffered a stunning loss on the road to the New York Jets in Week 1, even after the Jets lost Aaron Rodgers to a torn Achilles, and the future looked a bit murky for them.

But now they’re looking like Super Bowl contenders again after an impressive 48-20 win over the previously undefeated Miami Dolphins on Sunday to improve to 3-1.

Quarterback Josh Allen was outstanding, completing 21 of 25 pass attempts and throwing four touchdown passes, but Joy Taylor said that he didn’t prove anything with that performance because he was already great, via “Speak” on FS1.

There was also lots of speculation coming into the year that star wide receiver Stefon Diggs was at odds with the organization and that perhaps the source of his beef was Allen.

But at least for the moment, the two seem to be working well together, as Taylor pointed out.

Diggs had 120 receiving yards and three touchdowns on just six catches against Miami, and with 399 receiving yards on the season, he ranks seventh in the NFL.

Buffalo’s defense has also been strong, as they rank second in points allowed and held the Dolphins’ explosive offense in check.

It is hard to prove anything substantial in Week 4 of the season when one has already been considered one of the game’s three best quarterbacks and when his team was expected to be a contender.

For the Bills, it is all about winning the Super Bowl championship this winter, which would be the franchise’s first.
