Despite suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1, All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers has still been doing his best to help out the New York Jets in any way that he can.

This week that apparently included an appearance at the Jets’ team meeting on Saturday before New York’s big matchup on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to The Athletic’s Diana Russini, Rodgers delivered a “strong” message to his Jets teammates and continued to remind everyone to “stop pointing fingers.”

NFL Media’s Rich Eisen is a massive Jets fan, so no one was surprised to see him post a reaction to this recent report online.

Beating the Chiefs on Sunday would be huge for New York’s confidence moving forward, but it’s still a little too early to talk about the playoffs when it comes to this team.

The Jets’ have a playoff-caliber defense, but they’ve struggled mightily on the offensive side of the ball ever since Wilson became the team’s starting quarterback.

Heading into their Week 4 matchup against Kansas City, New York ranks last in the NFL in scoring, total yards, and passing yards.

If the Jets want to hang with a high-powered offense like the Chiefs on Sunday, then Wilson is going to have to turn things around and have the performance of his life.

Unfortunately, that’s unlikely to happen, and even with Rodgers doing his best to fire up New York’s locker room on Saturday, the Jets are going to need some serious luck to get a win over Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City.

Stranger things have happened, but the chances are low that New York gets a win on Sunday.
