NewsBusters Podcast: Media Obsess Over Trump in Court and Fall Short With Archer

On this episode of the NewsBusters Podcast, Managing Editor Curtis Houck and I look at the media’s obsession with former President Trump getting arraigned on Thursday. As they flood the zone with coverage, they also fill the airwaves with flaming hot takes proclaiming their anticipation of Trump behind bars or even exiled. We had a lot to cram in today.

As Curtis informs us, the network coverage of Trump’s third indictment has swelled to over 160 minutes (162 minutes and 16 seconds) all in an effort to sway the 2024 election. He called out ABC for doing the brunt of the work with almost a full hour of coverage (58 minutes and 7 seconds) since Tuesday.

Curtis also brings us Chuck Todd’s freak out and re-litigation of Trump’s two impeachments.

And since I’m filling in as host again, you know that we have to discuss the Cackling Coven of ABC’s The View!

As I’ve reported this week, the liberal ladies were flabbergasted by the notion that Trump should receive a fair trial and floated the idea of Trump being exiled from America to someplace like Saudi Arabia. Joy Behar in particular didn’t like that Biden wasn’t getting “credit” for a supposedly “booming” economy.
