Milwaukee Bucks +2 at Caesars

Mike Budenholzer’s Milwaukee Bucks (22-8, 17-11-2 ATS) will enter Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers as the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference after an incredibly hot start to begin the new campaign. Milwaukee currently leads Cleveland by two games in the standings and will look to create even more separation by pulling off the upset tonight as a road underdog.

The Bucks come into tonight’s game winners in three of their last four, including an impressive blowout win on the road over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night. Milwaukee managed to do so without SG Khris Middleton, who has missed each of the Bucks’ last two games and most of the season due to a series of wrist and knee injuries. Middleton is currently listed as doubtful for tonight’s game.

Wednesday’s game will mark the third meeting between these two teams already in 2022, with Milwaukee getting the better of Cleveland at the Fiserv Forum twice during the month of November. But it is worth noting that both sides are completely different teams at home versus away: the Bucks are 14-3 in Milwaukee this season while going 8-5 elsewhere. Similarly, Cleveland owns a stellar 15-2 record at home while playing to a poor 6-9 record in road games.

Cleveland Cavaliers -2 with Caesars Sportsbook

It has been an all-around exciting season thus far for J.B. Bickerstaff’s Cleveland Cavaliers (21-11, 17-13-2 ATS), who will enter Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee sitting firmly as the No. 3 overall seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

The Cavaliers have been especially hot as of late, winning four straight contests and five of their last six ahead of tonight’s crucial home game against Giannis Antetokounmpo and company. The acquisition of superstar SG Donovan Mitchell has seemingly transformed Cleveland into a serious contender for the first time since LeBron James was leading the franchise, and tonight’s matchup will serve as a measuring stick for Cleveland’s prospects moving forward.

As briefly mentioned above, the Cavaliers have been an absolute force to be reckoned with when playing at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in 2022. Cleveland boasts a 15-2 overall record at home with a pair of close losses to Minnesota and Sacramento as their only blemishes. Trailing the Bucks by just two games in both the Central Division and Eastern Conference standings, expect Cleveland to make a statement tonight in front of what should be a packed house.
