Zara Tindall shares favourite travel destination – would ‘definitely think
Mike flew to Australia as one of this year’s celebrity campmates, and it seems his family will soon be following suit.
His good friend James Haskell, who took part in the 2019 series, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday to speak about Mike’s support group.
Asked by Susanna Reid whether Zara will be travelling to Australia to cheer on her husband, James replied: “Yeah, yeah, I think she’ll be out there. Hopefully!”
Mike previously branded Australia a “special place” as it’s the country in which he first met Zara. Mike, who is married to the niece of King Charles III, arrived at Brisbane ahead of this year’s I’m A Celebrity series and told of the moment he first met his wife back in 2003.

According to The Mirror, Mike said: “Australia is a special place yeah I met Zara in Sydney. There is no holiday planned at the moment afterwards. If there was I wouldn’t tell you either!”
Zara and Mike Tindall currently live nearby to the royal’s mother, Princess Anne, at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, but they previously considered a big move to the other side of the world.
The Olympian previously described Australia as her second home, since she has spent a lot of time in the country with former rugby player Mike and their two daughters Mia, eight, and Lena, four, before they had their son Lucas, one.
Speaking to Australian Women’s Weekly in 2019, Zara shared that relocating to Australia could be on the cards in the future.

“Probably not while I’m still competing. It would be a little bit hard commuting. But after that … yes, I think if an opportunity came up we’d definitely think about it,” she said.
The King’s niece has been an ambassador of the Australian race carnival Magic Millions since 2012, which has seen her make several trips to the country in the past.
Zara and Mike spoke about how their children have enjoyed the country, and praised the relaxed lifestyle.
“Early January is bleak over here so it’s nice to go and have a bit of sun. I love the lifestyle of Australia and the ability to get up early, go on the beach – especially for the kids, taking them in the ocean is brilliant,” said Mike.

He added: “It’s not a rushed lifestyle. I think it’s a great place and we enjoy it so much.”
Zara continued: “Mia loves swimming. Of course, the climate allows you to be able to go swimming all day every day. When we first took her to Australia she was 11 months old; we kickstarted her love of water.
“She swims twice a week at home with lessons,” said Mike. “If she’s anywhere near a pool she’d be in there all day.
“And that came from Australia when we went for six weeks when she was three and stayed at a place that had a pool. It was all she wanted to do.”
Mike and Zara are living at Aston Farm near Gatcombe Park after moving into the property in 2013. They submitted plans to add a conservatory to the home as part of a two-storey extension in 2018, which were approved shortly after the birth of daughter Lena that June.
The extension meant their floor space increased from 115.5m sq to 135.5m sq, with a “greater area of work surface” in their new open-plan kitchen and dining room, and a new ground floor toilet and utility area.
Zara Tindall has not retired from being an equestrian yet and competed in the Nations Cup team at the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival in Germany in mid-September last year, as reported by Horse and Hound.
The British team achieved third place as Zara was partnering with Gleadhill House Stud Ltd’s 12-year-old chestnut Class Affair.
