Amari Cooper, Tyreek Hill Lead An Impressive WR Stat

The NFL has become a pass-happy and offensive-driven league now more than ever.

That has set the table for some epic offensive performances.

Nonetheless, even despite that, just a handful of players stand out from the rest of the pack when it comes to putting up video game-like numbers.

As shown by Statmuse (via Dov Kleiman), just three players have been able to log more than one game with more than 200 receiving yards over the past six seasons: Amari Cooper and Tyreek Hill (tied with three each) and Ja’Marr Chase (2).

One is used to reading Tyreek Hill’s name atop those kinds of lists, but Cooper’s name is rarely mentioned when talking about the best wide receivers in the game.

The Cleveland Browns standout was on a tear late in the season in 2023, building a strong rapport with Joe Flacco right away.

Cooper is also the kind of player who’s consistently been able to put up big numbers regardless of who’s throwing him the football, and he’s rarely had a steady or even good quarterback situation, with Dak Prescott being the best quarterback he’s ever played with.

Hopefully, the Browns will have a healthy Deshaun Watson turning back the clock next season.

That could help the Alabama product finally get the praise and recognition he so deserves, and he could end up being the defining factor for Kevin Stefanski’s team, as they already have a championship-caliber defense and only need the passing game to keep up.
