The Chicago Bulls announced they will honor some of the franchise legends by introducing a Ring of Honor.

That’s perhaps the only bright spot for this season, considering Billy Donovan’s team has been among the worst in the league, and that’s not likely to change before that game.

Notably, the Bulls chose January 12’s game vs. the Golden State Warriors to honor the legendary class of 1996, making the most of Steve Kerr’s presence to get it done.

The Bulls will also have Phil Jackson, Dennis Rodman, Michael Jordan, and Scottie Pippen in attendance.

That’s why NBA legend Charles Barkley claimed that he’s going to do whatever he can to be there.

Talking on T”he Dan Patrick Show,” Barkley jokingly said that there’s absolutely no reason to watch the Bulls or the Warriors right now, so people will arrive late in the first half, all liquored up, and leave right after the ceremony.

He stated that it was going to be one of the most awkward and uncomfortable situations ever, and stated that they shouldn’t have all those guys on the same day, as they would’ve fared better by spreading it up so people would actually show up to their games.

It’s not a secret that Pippen and Jordan have a complicated story, with the former taking countless uncontested shots at the latter, and the fans have obviously taken Jordan’s side.

As for Jackson and Rodman, they’ve also had their fair share of controversy, so this will be an interesting night, to say the least.
