Despite having a losing record on the year, the Las Vegas Raiders have several star players on their team.

Among them are Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams, and Maxx Crosby.

Jacobs and Adams are widely viewed as top-ten players at their position, routinely given praise for their efforts.

Despite Crosby’s skills as an edge rusher, for whatever reason, he doesn’t get the level of recognition as other elite defensive ends.

Darius Slay called this out in a recent tweet, indicating that Crosby would be better recognized on a different team.

Slay went so far as to say that Crosby could be seen as the NFL’s best player if he was on a different, better team.

Players on Slay’s Philadelphia Eagles are constantly recognized on a national scale due to the teams’ winning ways.

The same can be said for other good teams, such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers.

With the Raiders currently in shambles, most recently losing their head coach and GM, Crosby doesn’t get the attention that Slay thinks he deserves.

Crosby signed a four-year deal with the Raiders in 2022 that was worth nearly $100 million.

He is tied to the team for the next three years, something Slay likely sees as a negative.

The Raiders are slated to be in rebuild mode for the foreseeable future given the current state of the team.

Whether Crosby has voiced similar concerns behind the scenes remains to be seen, but Slay’s comments going viral could make an impact on Crosby’s thoughts on the situation.
