Coming into Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season, rookie Will Levis was tabbed to get his time to shine as the starter for the Tennessee Titans against the Atlanta Falcons, and his debut couldn’t have gone better.

Levis, who many believed was the fourth-best quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft, threw for four touchdowns in his debut, connecting with future Hall of Famer DeAndre Hopkins for three trips to the end zone.

It was one of the best debuts we’ve seen for a rookie quarterback in recent memory, as he looked like a proven veteran under center for the Titans and perhaps the future face of the franchise moving forward.

In the aftermath of Levis exploding onto the scene in Week 8, superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets gave his two cents on the rookie’s debut, as he believes the University of Kentucky product made some perfect throws on Sunday, via “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Before putting on a show in his debut, the Titans seemed like a team ready for a fire sale, with some of their best players rumored to be available ahead of the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday.

All sorts of rumors had been floating around about superstar running back Derrick Henry, who had a solid game against the Falcons with 132 all-purpose yards, as the consensus was that he’d be moved before the Halloween deadline.

That turned out not to be the case, as maybe the Titans brass saw something special from Levis in Week 8 to make them confident in a run at a playoff berth.
