The Denver Nuggets are fresh off winning their first NBA Championship in franchise history last season.

It was the combined brilliance of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray that helped the Nuggets win the ring last year.

However, it was Nikola Jokic who truly made things happen for the Nuggets.

Many believe that Jokic was robbed of winning his third consecutive NBA MVP last season in favor of Joel Embiid.

Jokic has a wide range of skills, including his insane passing ability, which was on full display during the Denver Nuggets vs. Memphis Grizzlies game when he threw a half-court lob, revealed via NBA on Twitter.

Despite being 6’11”, Jokic is not your traditional big man, instead of just focusing his energy inside the paint, the two-time NBA MVP tries to do a little bit of everything on the court.

Jokic’s deep bag of skills is what makes him a unique player and very difficult to guard on the hardwood.

As for the above-attached clip, Jokic threw the lob from farther than half-court and found Aaron Gordon near the rim.

Gordon finished the job and gave two easy points to the Nuggets.

For the game, Jokic had 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists as he helped the Nuggets register a 108-104 victory over the Grizzlies.

It was the Nuggets’ second straight win of the season and they have a 2-0 record right now.

The Nuggets are currently playing like NBA champions, as most expected them to play.

But can the organization ultimately defend its title? Only time will tell.
