The Las Vegas Raiders are going through another frustrating season, as they currently hold a 1-3 record and are in dire need of wins in bunches.

On Monday, they will host the Green Bay Packers, and the big question has been whether quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will be able to suit up for them after suffering a concussion in Week 3.

The good news is that he has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play on Monday according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Garoppolo missed last weekend’s contest versus the Los Angeles Chargers, and without him, Las Vegas lost 24-17.

Aidan O’Connell filled in for him last Sunday, and he went 24 of 39 while throwing an interception and zero touchdown passes and getting sacked seven times, six times by Khalil Mack.

The Raiders acquired Garoppolo during the offseason after parting ways with Derek Carr, who had started under center for them from his rookie season in 2014 until late last year.

Garoppolo had been the starter for the San Francisco 49ers ever since they traded for him in 2017, and prior to that, he was Tom Brady’s understudy while with the New England Patriots.

The veteran QB has a reputation for being a steady hand while also being a strong leader on and off the field.

However, in three contests this year, he has six interceptions and five touchdown passes, giving him a poor 81.4 passer rating.

After Monday’s contest, the Raiders will host the New England Patriots before heading on the road for games against the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions the following two weeks.
