The Miami Heat’s Media Day has become must-watch television, even for those who aren’t that fond of the NBA.

That’s all thanks to Jimmy Butler, who has turned this day into his very own Halloween.

Last season, the talented forward arrived with a new hairdo, shocking the world with some dreadlocks.

This time, he took it to a whole new level by showing up with straightened hair, multiple piercings, and claiming to be an emo.

That’s why ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith posted a hilarious edit of himself mimicking Butler to promote the latest episode of his podcast.

Notably, Butler has never been the one to take things way too seriously.

Outside of his preparation and the NBA playoffs, he’s constantly joking and trolling around.

It was hard to take him seriously in his interviews with his new look and hairdo, but you better believe he was 100% telling the truth when he talked about his feelings about the team.

Butler vowed to beat Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks and stated that the Heat would win the NBA championship, and that wasn’t an act at all.

Needless to say, that’s going to be easier said than done.

The Boston Celtics also got a lot better with the additions of Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, the Philadelphia 76ers have a better coach in Nick Nurse, and the Bucks landed the aforementioned Lillard.

But this Heat team always finds a way to beat the odds, even when no one else believes in them.
