Aaron Rodgers Was Reportedly In Attendance For Crucial Jets Meeting
Heading into the 2023 NFL season, there was a significant amount of excitement within the fan base of the New York Jets, thanks to the offseason addition of All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
But as the Jets’ snakebitten luck would have it, Rodgers lasted a whole offensive drive in a New York uniform this year before a torn Achilles knocked him out for the rest of the season.
Despite being unable to help his teammates out on the field, the veteran signal-caller has still been doing his best to make an impact on the guys inside the Jets locker room.
According to The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, Rodgers was in attendance for New York’s team meeting on Saturday, and he’s expected to also be in attendance for the Jets’ big matchup on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Starting under center for New York in place of Rodgers has been Zach Wilson, and his performance has certainly been a bit deflating for Jets fans to watch.
In his three games this season, Wilson has only completed 52.4 percent of his passes for 467 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions while also getting sacked eight times.
New York fans have been hoping the team would attempt to make a trade for a better quarterback to save their season, but Jets head coach Robert Saleh has remained committed to Wilson as the team’s starter.
But if New York gets blown out by the Chiefs on Sunday and Wilson has another disastrous performance, Saleh might have to make a quarterback change if he wants to avoid being fired at the end of the season.
