Many people have been debating Dwight Howard’s place in NBA history.

This debate got even hotter when Howard wasn’t included on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.

Shannon Sharpe and NBA legend Dwyane Wade, who did make the 75th Anniversary Team, discussed this on Club Shay Shay.

They agreed that Howard was a “dominant big” in the league and deserved a spot on the team.

“When you talk about this generation, these last 25 years, how many names can you think of and Dwight Howard’s name is not in there?” Wade asked.

Both Sharpe and Wade agreed that people can make their comments about Howard and his personality.

They can critique him for a number of reasons.

But when it comes to playing well on the court, there were many years when Howard was truly one of the greatest big men in the league.

In fact, he was so good that he helped carry his Orlando Magic all the way to the Finals just a few years into his career.

Things got a little tricky for Howard after he left the Magic in 2012.

He was supposed to be the future of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Instead, he never got along well with Kobe Bryant and only lasted there one season.

He then moved on to the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, and Philadelphia 76ers.

He also came back to the Lakers and even won a championship with them.

A lot of people criticize Howard and his personality but no one can deny that he really was dominant for multiple years.

He might be on the verge of returning to the NBA after a few years away.

Will he show any signs of his dominance again?
