An odd moment took place on Monday night at Coors Field during the game between the Colorado Rockies and Atlanta Braves.

Three fans ran onto the field and towards Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr.

The first fan that reached the field took things a step too far when security was attempting to pull him away from Acuna and he caused the Braves outfielder to fall.

Two other fans ran onto the field and were subsequently apprehended by security.

After the incident was over, the fans were escorted off the field and out of the stadium, with the first two fans being arrested and jailed.

On Twitter, Rockies reporter Kelsey Wingert-Linch revealed this update on the two fans.

The fans were charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace.

The third fan was ultimately cited for trespassing before being apprehended by Coors Field security.

Ultimately, it’s a good thing that security acted swiftly and managed to get the fans off of the field before the situation escalated.

Things got bad enough when Acuna was tackled to the ground.

But fortunately, the fans were caught in the act and ultimately escorted away from the star outfielder.

According to Wingert-Linch, the third fan was not arrested or jailed for his actions, and no further charges are being pursued at the moment.

Still, it was a wild scene at Coors Field on Monday night.

Rarely do fans get close to players, but doing so in this manner is certainly dangerous.
