Nick Wright Has Grim Giannis Antetokounmpo Prediction For Bucks
Earlier this week, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo sat down for an interview with the New York Times and had some interesting things to say about his future in the NBA.
Antetokounmpo basically let it be known that his future with the Bucks isn’t set in stone, and he will not remain loyal to the franchise if he looks around the locker room and doesn’t see the same dedication he has to winning titles.
This obviously sent a bit of a shockwave throughout the NBA, as Antetokounmpo potentially leaving the Bucks at some point in the near future is major news, especially considering it could result in a massive power shift in the league.
With this being an interesting development in Milwaukee, with the franchise officially being on the clock, Nick Wright of FOX Sports spoke about the situation and how he believes the superstar will eventually leave the Bucks, via “First Things First” on FS1.
“If you’re talking about over the next 5 years, I doubt the best place for Giannis to be is Milwaukee.”

With Jrue Holiday recently saying he will retire once his contract with the team expires and Khris Middleton really struggling to stay healthy over the last couple of seasons, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Antetokounmpo’s NBA future will continue somewhere else in the near future.
As Wright points out, if Antetokounmpo’s goal is to win as many titles as possible, Milwaukee will not be the place for him as there seems to be a limited window there, especially considering the team struggles to lure in free agents.
Plus, the big-market franchises like the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and others will be going after him, so his days with the Bucks are more than likely numbered.
