The NFL Reminds Fans Of Kirk Cousins’ Most Iconic Moment
Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings may not be an elite quarterback, but he is a pretty good one.
He has made the Pro Bowl in three of the last four seasons, and last year he guided the Vikings to a 13-4 record, which was tied for the second-best mark in the entire NFL.
Several years ago, he was a member of the then-Washington Redskins, a team that has seemingly been in a perpetual rebuilding mode, and in 2015, he led a comeback for the ages against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Trailing 24-0 late in the second quarter, his team came back to win, 31-30, which had Cousins yelling “You like that?” afterward.
The NFL reminded fans of that game on its official Twitter account.

At the time, Cousins was still struggling to make a positive name for himself in his fourth NFL season after he was a fourth-round pick in 2012.
To that point, he hadn’t thrown for as many as 2,000 yards or more than 10 touchdowns in a single season.
But 2015 was his first year as a starter, and that game versus Tampa Bay seemed to be his coming out party.
In that contest, he completed an unbelievable 33 of 40 passes while throwing three touchdown passes against zero interceptions and adding another touchdown on the ground.
Cousins ended up with 4,166 passing yards, 29 touchdown passes, and a league-best 69.8 percent completion rate.
The following season, he made the Pro Bowl for the first time, but the Redskins couldn’t progress beyond being a mediocre team, and he left to join Minnesota for the 2018 campaign.
