The MLB All-Star break is one of the best times of the season.

The players get a break from competitive games and the fans get a show like none other.

The Home Run Derby has become a must-see event for any baseball fan.

Some of the best home-run hitters in the league come together to hit baseballs very hard and very far.

What’s not to love about the Derby?

The field of contestants for this year’s event has been announced and it is loaded.

The most recent player to commit is Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr.

Robert is having the best season of his career and wants to show off his power to all MLB fans.

Robert is having the season that many people have been waiting on him to have.

He was one of the top prospects in baseball when coming up through the White Sox system.

But his inability to stay on the field has caused him problems.

Over the past two seasons, Robert has failed to play more than 100 games.

Yet he has already played in 84 this season.

His 25 home runs are a career-high and he ranks tied for third in MLB with that number.

Robert has incredible raw power and he should be able to do very well in the Derby.

While he might not be the favorite to win the contest he should be on the shortlist of players that can put on a show.
