Masks Off: Hollywood Celeb Tilda Swinton Defies COVID Mandate

Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton was the latest Hollywood star to speak out about rigid and unnecessary COVID-19 protocols. During a pre-premiere panel for her new film, “Problemisita,” Swinton said she was done with mask-wearing, The Wrap reported.

After first making a jab at Texas by asking, “did people wear masks?” Swinton said that she’s about to shoot a picture in Ireland, where she was instructed to wear a mask at all times. To that, she said, “I’m not.”

Swinton also added that she’s “very healthy” and really isn’t too concerned about COVID.

Swinton’s comments came on the heels of actor Woody Harrelson complaining publicly about Hollywood’s insane COVID protocols during an interview with the New York Times.

“I don’t think that anybody should have the right to demand that you’re forced to do the testing, forced to wear the mask and forced to get vaccinated three years on. I’m just like, let’s be done with this nonsense,” he said.

Nonsense it is, Mr. Harrelson.

He added, “It’s not fair to the crews. I don’t have to wear the mask. Why should they? Why should they have to be vaccinated? How’s that not up to the individual?”

A round of applause for saying what conservatives have been pointing out since this all started.

What’s unique about this story is that some left-leaning California elitists are actually thinking critically. Typically, Hollywood celebs hop on whatever bandwagon is popular and push leftist progressivism every time they’re given an opportunity, having a massive influence on the public and – I hate to say it – exerting a heavy pull on what others (who don’t think for themselves) believes.

All I can say about this is that I’m glad a few celebs are coming to their senses about the reality of COVID, but it would have been a hell of a lot more meaningful if it came out three years ago.
