Richard Norval Krah, 86, Imperial | Obituaries
Richard Norval Krah, 86, of Imperial died Jan. 1, 2023. Mr. Krah was a University of Alabama football fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and gazing at the stars and moon, and he was knowledgeable about astronomy. He loved animals, including his horse, Dolly. Born June 8, 1936, he was the son of the late Veldean (Wondel) and George Benck.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary (Hille) Krah.
He is survived by his daughter: Kathy (Neal) Chadbourne; five grandchildren: Kelly (Jason) Mottaz, Jennifer Henderson, Richie (Loani) Krah, Neal (Katie) Chadbourne II and Jason (Sharon) Chadbourne; and 12 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Bella, Bradley, Brandon, Evie, Sophia, Charlie III, Gracie, Alaina, Josie, Jude and Jane.
He also was preceded in death by two children: Fern Veldean Henderson and Richard N. Krah II; and a granddaughter: Renee Dawn Mottaz.
Visitation will be from noon until a funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.
