Random: KFC Capitalises on God of War Ragnarok with Opportune Ad Placement

Sony can be a bit too quiet for our tastes at times, but when it’s got a blockbuster exclusive to market, it tends to go into overdrive. God of War Ragnarok, out today around the world, is absolutely everywhere right now – no matter which country you live in, you’ll no doubt be seeing television commercials, posters, and even freakin’ train liveries!

In fact, the hype is so strong that other brands are trying to capitalise on it. Take this set of billboards at Chatham station in England. On the one side is Kratos and Atreus, a pretty bog-standard display from PlayStation UK. On the other, however, is an opportunistic ad from KFC: “And that’s why there’s KFC delivery!” In other words, kick back and order yourself a Wicked Zinger burger while you visit Midgard.
