Brunswick City Schools District looks forward following levy renewal
BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Following the 4,068-to-3,983 vote passage of Issue 2, the Brunswick City Schools 4.5-mill, 10-year operating levy renewal May 3 – based upon unofficial results from the Medina County Board of Elections – Superintendent Jason Niedermeyer thanked voters and said levy funds will allow the district to continue its focus on supporting students and staff.
“Financial stability allows the district to budget and forecast appropriately,” Niedermeyer said. “As we provide effective, innovative ways to educate our students, this stability maximizes each dollar’s impact while ensuring fiscal responsibility. Renewing this levy enables the school district to continue to provide competitive educational programming and student opportunities critical to success in today’s world.”
