Colonel Crawford's Mason Studer helped guide his team to the Elite Eight for the first time ever.

COLUMBUS – First Team All-Ohioans don’t come around often.

Monday afternoon the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association announced the Division III All-Ohio teams via the OHSAA and among the names on the top team was Colonel Crawford senior Mason Studer.

Averaging 17.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.9 steals while shooting 52.4% on the season, 45.9% from 3-point range and 76.9% from the free throw line, he becomes the program’s first – and only – First Team All-Ohioan since J.C. Ehmann was UPI first team in the 1990-91 season.

Studer is now a two-time All-Ohioan after earning special mention honors last year. He was named Division III Northwest District co-Player of the Year, Division III District 6 Player of the Year and Northern 10 Player of the Year after helping guide the Eagles to their first ever Elite Eight appearance.
