Kyle Rittenshouse Plans On Suing LeBron James For Defamatory Comments

Look out, King James.

The teenager who was acquitted of all charges in a self-defense case in November has plans to sue all major media outlets and people who defamed him during his trial while also creating a fundraiser designed to raise money for people who look to do so as well.

One of the individuals Rittenhouse plans on suing is Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, who ridiculed the teenager for crying at a key moment within the trial.

Rittenhouse went on the premier episode of journalist Drew Hernandez’s new show “Frontlines” to announce his intention:

“Anybody who defamed me, or lied about me, we’re just gonna send them a letter and then deal with them in a courtroom,” Rittenhouse said.

The incident that will earn James his letter from Rittenhouse was when the NBA star tweeted that the young man was fake crying to gain sympathy during his trial:

Whether or not this is enough to sue and win a case is irrelevant, it still shows that Rittenhouse has enough character and courage to fight back against those who attempted to ruin his reputation and his life.

America could learn a lesson from him on how to stand up to bullies.
