Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Mindanao, Palawan due to LPA, easterlies
At 3 a.m. on Thursday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 105 kilometers east southeast of General Santos City while the effects of the easterlies are felt in Luzon and Visayas, PAGASA reported.
Mindanao and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the LPA and easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will ave partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Mindanao wind speed will be light to moderate moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Wind speed for northern Luzon will be light to moderate moving in the southeast to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
