Bucks Made Unfortunate NBA History With Latest Losses
Before the 2023-24 NBA regular season got underway, the Milwaukee Bucks were given an ultimatum by superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who made it clear that he would be looking to play somewhere else in the league if he didn’t see the same kind of passion in the locker room that he has for winning another title.
As a result of Antetokounmpo putting his foot down in Milwaukee, the Bucks immediately got to work trying to find the right player to bring in to keep the two-time NBA MVP’s spirits high and to turn the team back into a perennial title contender in the Eastern Conference once again.
Ultimately, the Bucks made a blockbuster trade to acquire superstar guard Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers, and as a result, the league was put on notice that Milwaukee could be a serious force to be reckoned with in the East this season.
However, even though the Bucks are currently in second place in the East and on the verge of locking up the second seed in the conference, Milwaukee has been somewhat of a disappointment this year and just made history for all the wrong reasons, according to Evan Abrams of Action Network.
“The Bucks became just the 6th team since 2000 to lose back-to-back games as 12+-point favorites,” Action Network tweeted.

Although the Bucks are well over .500 right now with a record of 47-29, Milwaukee is looking less and less like a team that will be able to compete with the top-seeded Boston Celtics in a seven-game series during the postseason.
There’s no doubting Milwaukee’s talent and how good their two best players are, but this year might not be their year if they continue to play down to the competition.
