The Dallas Cowboys’ 2023 season ended much sooner than the team originally anticipated.

After a hot start to the year and much optimism heading into the playoffs, the Cowboys lost to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round.

This made several fans and analysts question the validity of how good the Cowboys roster is and whether or not the team knows what they are doing.

Skip Bayless is the latest to critique how the team is being run, indicating that, while other teams across the league are looking for new players and searching for the best team-friendly deals, the Cowboys are sitting around, waiting for the draft.

“As news of free-agent signings explodes around him, Jerry Jones is waiting … waiting … waiting … waiting … waiting … waiting … for the draft,” Bayless said.

Bayless wants Jerry Jones and the rest of the Cowboys offense to make a big move.

There is still plenty of time before the regular season starts, but since they didn’t make any major signings on day one, it will be interesting to see how they approach the rest of this offseason.

Yes, there are plenty of impressive prospects out there, players that could seemingly turn around a franchise, but these types of moves do not seem like something that the team has done in the past.

For the most part, the Cowboys seem content with what they have on the field, especially with Mike McCarthy returning for another year.

Can they find a way to win with their current roster and not join the fun of free agency?

Or, will the Cowboys pull out an uncharacteristic move and get in on the action in the next several days?
