Dodgers Reportedly Bringing Back A Fan Favorite
The Los Angeles Dodgers have been the most active team this offseason.
It is clear their recent years of coming up short in the playoffs have taken a toll on them.
That is why the Dodgers went all out to acquire some of the best players available this offseason.
It all started when they signed Shohei Ohtani to a 10-year, $700 million deal.
That deal opened the floodgates for the Dodgers to make moves on Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, and Teoscar Hernandez.
But, the Dodgers cannot fill their entire roster with stars.
They need some role players that can do a job when called upon.
That is why the Dodgers brought back fan favorite Enrique Hernandez.
According to Fabian Ardaya, the Dodgers are bringing back Hernandez, assuming the trade of Manuel Margot goes through.

Moving Margot will free up a spot in the outfield to sign Hernandez.
While Hernandez is never going to be a great player, he is valuable in the clubhouse.
Also, over a 162-game season, you need a full roster to produce.
Hernandez is a utility man who can play a multitude of positions and has a decent bat.
He will not hold an everyday role for the Dodgers.
But, he can be a right-handed specialist off the bench to come in and face tough lefties.
The Dodgers will enter the upcoming season as favorites to win the World Series.
Having players like Hernandez is one way they can make that come true.
